Patti Smith ''When Doves Cry''
Covers can mutilate the original so badly, but covers can be so good as well.
For instance this version of Prince's ''When Doves Cry'' by Patti Smith.
I think it's an amazing one. Prince - with all due respect - can be a bit exaggerative, but the more introvert version of this song by Patti is perfect for it, if you ask me. Decide yourselves!
