An Ode to Sex and the City

I've finished the entire show. And yes, I had to cry. For the first time in my life (I don't cry because of movies or shows, except for the last episode of Friends, but you know, that's Friends), so it may be the second. Anyway, I really really adored the show. Carrie Bradshaw is amazing, so are here friends. And I'm so happy she ended up with Big! Those two are just meant to be. I loved Aidan as well, but they just missed the sparkle as she does have with Big.

And the face of Charlotte when she saw her little China girl is just one-in-a-million. Smith and Samantha are gorgeous together, Smith really is a perfect guy. Only Miranda's ending wasn't very impressing but she never was in the show.

It's weird that I've seen the episodes all now. Of course I'll watch them again and again but the first time is always the best.

I'd die to have a life as Carrie, living in New York, write a column for a magazine and go shopping, hanging out with my friends and find the perfect true love. It may sound like a fairy tale but I think it is possible: “Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.”
